Nutritionally Tailored CSA

Connecting nutritious food access with community health.

Access to nutritious food can be an important part of preventive health, yet individuals and families may face financial, geographic and practical barriers to obtaining and preparing fresh produce.

Royally Fit's Nutritionally Tailored Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program connects eligible participants with produce selected around identified nutritional needs, alongside nutrition education and practical food skills.

Our approach brings together food access, education, community partnerships and opportunities for participants to build sustainable habits beyond their time in the program.

The Why

For people experiencing food insecurity or managing diet-related health concerns, access to nutritious food may be limited by household budgets, availability and other barriers.

A food distribution alone may not address the additional support participants need to understand, prepare and incorporate unfamiliar or seasonal produce into their meals.
